#WAX has two locations. The original is in Lee's Summit at NE Rice Rd., across from Sprouts and off Highway 291 North. The newer Warrensburg studio is on E. Young Ave. Kelly has owned and run the Lee's Summit location since 2017. The salon says both sites offer the same waxing quality, expert care and welcoming feel.

The stated goal is thorough hair removal. Services include full body waxing for women and men, excluding male Brazilian waxing, covering the face, arms, legs, back, chest, stomach, underarms and intimate areas. Several areas can be sugared instead of waxed, and combo packages bundle multiple areas at one price.

Visits are meant to feel relaxing and sanitary. Before a first treatment, clients complete a waxing and tint consent form with a health and skin questionnaire. Clients under 18 need a legal guardian's consent on that form.

Booking is online and handled separately for each location. A no-call, no-show, or cancellation with less than 24 hours notice carries a fee of 50% of the scheduled service, and clients agree to let the salon charge the card kept on file.
