Waxing is done in private rooms by licensed estheticians, and every treatment room has a sink. Before a service, the esthetician washes hands in front of the client, uses a fresh single-use applicator for each person, and steps out while the client gets ready. Rooms are sanitized between appointments and linens are changed between clients.
Wax type depends on the area: premium hard wax is used for sensitive spots such as the bikini line and underarms, and soft wax for larger areas like legs, back and arms. The products are described as eco-conscious and skin-safe. After a Brazilian wax, the esthetician applies PFB Vanish, an ingrown hair treatment, and a sample size is available to take home for $3.
