Wax by Marina operates from a newer studio at 8217 Beverly Blvd. Unit #9, just past El Leon Spa in a modern grey building. Clients walk up to the security gate and call when they arrive.

The studio is run by its owner esthetician, Marina, and waxing is by appointment only. Clients can reach the studio by phone, text or email with questions before booking. Parking includes metered street spaces on Beverly, side street parking, and valet in the rear alley of the building.

Before a waxing visit, the studio asks that hair be between a quarter inch and a half inch long, and that clients not shave in between appointments. Waxing every four weeks is recommended, and smoother skin may take up to three treatments. Results are described as lasting one to two weeks at minimum, with longer results for clients who keep up a consistent schedule.

Marina says she works from the belief that every person is unique, and the studio's services are built around individual clients.
