Wavelengths

Wavelengths is a hair business located in Unit 8A at 18061 Highwoods Preserve Parkway in New Tampa. It is open Wednesday and Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM and Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM, and it is closed Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

Services are booked as timed appointments rather than by a fixed menu. A one hour appointment is $125 and runs 75 minutes, a two hour appointment is $250 and runs 135 minutes, a three hour appointment is $375 and runs 195 minutes, and a four hour appointment is $500 and runs 255 minutes. Which service fits depends on hair type, density and length. A short block can cover a haircut, a style or a toner, while the longer blocks cover cut and style with treatment, color cut and style, intricate cuts, light-amount perms, full highlights with cut or toner, root color with highlights, balayage with toner, perms with a trim, long thick hair perms and color correction.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment are charged 50% of the booked time. The amount is credited to the client's account and can be used within 30 days of the original appointment. A no-show without any notice is charged 100% of the booked time. The first no-show gives a full credit to the account for use within 30 days, the second gives a 50% credit, and a third is charged 100% of the service with no credit.
