Warehouse Salon opened in 2021 under founder and owner Meredith Ware. The salon says its team has nearly two decades of experience in the beauty industry. It operates two locations: the downtown studio in the Crossroads Arts District has skyline views, and the Blvd location sits in a quiet industrial area along Southwest Boulevard and has a private parking lot. The salon describes its feel as laid-back yet luxurious.

The salon describes itself as Kansas City's destination for dimensional color and effortless hair, and its known strength is color that looks multi-dimensional and needs little upkeep, paired with lived-in textured cuts. According to the salon, most clients visit two to four times a year. New clients first request an appointment online and then receive a consultation form to fill out before their visit.

The Signature Color menu covers four services. Mini Custom, starting at $175, is a refresh that adds brightness around the face. Partial Custom, starting at $200, uses highlights, lowlights and teasylights and suits returning clients who want about two to four months of grow-out. Full Custom, starting at $250, covers the whole head with dimensional color, face-framing brightness, refreshed ends and blended roots, and is recommended for first-time clients. Ultimate Blonde, starting at $300, is a full lightening service that keeps dimension. Each Signature Color service includes a custom gloss, treatment, conditioning mask, blowout and style.

Timeless Services include a women's haircut from $65, a blowout from $50, a conditioning mask with blowout from $75, a gloss from $100, base color from $120, base plus gloss from $150 and all-over color from $175. Stylists work with clients to choose a look that fits their personality, budget and the time they have available in the salon. A shadow day with Meredith is also offered, at $500 for a full day or $350 for a half day.

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice are charged 50% of the scheduled service, and cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice or no-shows are charged 100%. Clients more than 15 minutes late may be asked to reschedule and are charged 50% of the scheduled services. Clients who are unhappy with a service should say so at the appointment or within 48 hours afterward. Color adjustments for mistakes by the service provider must be done by the original stylist within 7 days, unless the client asks otherwise; later adjustments carry a color service fee, and changes of mind are not covered. Service is not refunded, and retail products may be returned within 7 days for in-store credit only.
