Walker Street Salon

Walker Street Salon was founded in 2012 and occupies an older building on the square that was renovated for the salon. The current owners took over the business in 2021.

The salon's stated mission is to brighten clients' lives and their hair, in a safe and welcoming setting. The interior mixes modern design with the character of the renovated building.

Clients can get in touch with the salon and be matched with a stylist for their hair needs. Haircuts for men and women, color work, and treatments such as Brazilian Blowouts, K18 and keratin are offered. Hair extensions are also available.

The salon sells shampoos, conditioners, styling products and treatments from brands including amika, Moroccan Oil and Kevin Murphy. Staff can help clients pick products that suit their hair type and the style they want.

Parking is available on Walker Street in front of the salon, and two large lots sit across the street. Children are not allowed in the salon during appointments, and clients are asked to arrive on time or let their stylist know if they will be late. Each stylist sets their own policy on late arrivals and no-shows. Appointments can be booked online through the Book Now option.
