W Salon Suites

W Salon Suites, LLC runs the building at 206 New Neely Ferry Road in Mauldin. Rather than a single salon with shared staff, the space is divided into 14 suites, and each one is leased to an experienced professional who operates as their own business.

Suite owners set their own pricing, hours, services and brand, and may put their salon name and graphics on the glass door of their suite. Each suite is private with a lockable glass door. Owners and their clients have 24/7/365 access, using a keyless code to the main salon and a key to their own suite. Suites come furnished with salon furniture, a shampoo bowl and a hydraulic styling chair, with electricity and water included, smart TV hookups and free high-speed Wi-Fi for streaming.

Shared amenities include an owners' lounge, a free on-site laundry facility, common-area cleaning, surveillance and security systems, high ceilings and ample parking. The salon says its aim is a welcoming, pleasant, hygienic and calm space for clients.

Clients book consultations and appointments directly with the individual suite owner through the salon directory. For professionals considering a suite, leases run for six-month terms with rent paid weekly or monthly. Applicants complete an application, pass a background check through a third-party provider, submit a deposit, provide proof of liability insurance and a local business license, and bring a stable clientele.

Suites are leased to independent professionals who set their own prices, hours, services and brand, so each suite operates as its own business within one building.
