The school offers three core programs sized to state requirements: a 1000-hour cosmetology program, a 750-hour esthetics program and a 600-hour nail technology program. Cosmetology covers haircare, skin care, cutting, coloring, styling, extensions, chemical textures, barbering, facials and hair removal, along with business skills, personal branding, salon management, and health, safety and laws coursework. The program includes TDLR practical and written exam preparation. Esthetics covers facials, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, skin analysis, customized skincare, acne treatments, waxing, lash and brow work, and body treatments, with exposure to micro-needling and LED therapy equipment. The site lists esthetics as an official Hydrafacial school partner. Nail technology covers nail art, acrylics, gel work, manicures, pedicures and extensions, with training in sanitation and client retention.

Training combines mannequin practice, model days and real client services under instructor guidance. The academy describes its instructors as experienced and passionate, and says its curriculum is industry-leading and prepares graduates to work in a salon. Job placement help is offered, either through VXO's own programs in marketing, branding and business building or through other locations.

Members of the public can book salon and spa services, which are performed by students and supervised by licensed professionals. Hair services range from shampoo and style and haircuts to color, highlights, perms and silk presses. Spa services include waxing and several facial options, from a signature facial to a hydrafacial, which is performed by esthetics students under licensed instructors.

Schedules include full-time and part-time options. Cosmetology meets in person three days a week, with weekday hours from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM and 7.5 hours of online class each week. Esthetics meets two days a week from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM with 7.5 hours of online coursework. Nail classes meet three days a week from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Tuition is $12,279 for cosmetology, $10,279 for esthetics and $6,979 for nails, each with a $500 deposit and a kit fee. The academy offers interest-free in-house payment plans, Affirm financing and several other payment methods. Students who pay full tuition before the program starts receive a 5% discount, and payment schedules can be adjusted to fit payday. A $25 late fee applies to payments more than five days overdue. Refunds on withdrawal are prorated by completed hours. Prospective students can request an information session through a schedule-a-call option, and a free consultation is available to talk through financing.
