The team includes a salon manager, several master stylists and designers, and an artist who works in hair and makeup. Each artist has a different specialty, so clients can pick someone for balayage, perms, extensions, color correction or formal styling. Stylists are described as taking multiple classes through the year to keep their cutting and styling current.

A visit starts with a consultation when the service calls for one. Extensions require a consultation and a $50 deposit, and lightening services are quoted after a consultation because the price depends on how much product is used. Lightening includes no extra color by default, and the salon charges $30 per extra ounce of product. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice, and no-shows, are charged 50% of the service cost, with exceptions made for emergencies or illness.

The head spa menu comes in three lengths: 1 hour, 1.5 hours and 2 hours. Each includes scalp treatments and a hot stone massage for the arms and upper body. The shortest visit adds scalp detox, red-light and radio-frequency scalp treatment, Olaplex deep conditioning and scalp hydration. The longer visits add a mini facial with a mask, and the 2-hour visit also includes relaxation aromatherapy. Scalp massage intensity can be adjusted to the client. The salon says the head spa is designed to help with stress, hair fall, dandruff, headaches and oil balance, and it uses essential oils, scalp tools and deep conditioning masks.
