VL Skin was founded by Vanessa Lehnerd and is based on the idea that healthy skin starts with personalized care. The studio is at 17401 Ventura Blvd, Suite B-9, inside FlashLaser, on the second level of the Encino Courtyard.
Every visit opens with a conversation about the client's skin, daily lifestyle and goals. The facial is then shaped around what that conversation and the skin reveal. Most facials include a double cleanse, exfoliation, extractions when needed, and finishing products chosen for the skin.
The menu runs from a 40-minute Essential Facial at $100 to an 80-minute Red Carpet Glow Facial at $160. The Signature Facial, at 60 minutes for $110, adds a treatment mask. Microdermabrasion facials use diamond-tip microdermabrasion, and the Microdermabrasion + Oxygen Facial adds oxygen infusion. The Glow Infusion Facial at $135 combines nano infusion with a personalized ampoule, and the Red Carpet Glow Facial layers custom masks with a firming peptide mask, red LED therapy and nano infusion. The Customized Peel Facial uses a professional peel and is offered to returning clients only. The Back Facial is a 45-minute treatment for the back at $100, with a treatment mask available for $15 more.
Hours are Monday through Saturday from 9 AM to 7 PM and Sunday from 11 AM to 5 PM. The studio charges a 20% cancellation fee. Buy Now, Pay Later can be arranged in person for bookings between $50 and $4,000, with approval needed before the appointment. Gift cards come in $100, $115, $135 and $160 amounts or a custom amount, and gift card sales are final.
Treatments are customized to each client's skin needs, concerns and goals, and each appointment begins with a discussion of the skin, lifestyle and goals.
