Permanent makeup at the studio is a non-surgical micro-pigmentation procedure. Powder Brows, also called Ombre Brows, is a semi-permanent shaded brow technique in which a machine deposits pigment. The color lasts about one to three years depending on skin type and lifestyle, and the studio recommends a yearly touch-up to keep full color and shape. Each appointment follows the same order: mapping the shape with the client, numbing, applying color, then a healing period of about seven to ten days before a touch-up. Touch-ups are listed at two months, six to twelve months, and twelve to eighteen months after the first procedure, and touch-ups after the complimentary period may carry extra charges. Lip Neutralization, listed at $400, is for two-toned blue or purple, cool, brown, or dark lip tones. A follow-up is typically suggested five to eight weeks after the first session, and a color boost every one to three years. Paramedical tattoo work includes camouflage tattooing, also called skin tone tattooing, which conceals scars, stretch marks, vitiligo, and other discolorations. Scar camouflage uses skin-toned pigments on surgical scars such as C-section, tummy tuck, facelift, and mastectomy scars, and on burn or injury scars once they are smooth and fully healed. It works best on scars at least 12 to 18 months old that are lighter than the surrounding skin and flat or slightly raised.
