VINA & Co. started in 2014 as Beauty by VM, a traveling bridal hair and makeup company in South Florida, and now works from a studio in Lake Worth Beach. Bridal hair and makeup is the core of the business. The business says it differs from a conventional salon and from artists who offer bridal services on the side. Weddings are served from Martin and Okeechobee counties down through Broward and Miami-Dade, and the business takes select destination weddings.

Weddings are usually booked eight to twelve months ahead, especially peak-season and Saturday dates, and reserving a date takes a signed agreement and a 30% retainer. Friday through Sunday weddings carry a $700 minimum in services, and peak-season Saturdays carry a $1,000 minimum. Travel fees for on-site weddings vary by location and number of artists. The team accepts a limited number of weddings each year. Clients can request a specific artist, subject to availability, and artist pairings are set from the bridal questionnaire and service needs. An optional Bridal Preview at the studio usually takes place three to four months before the wedding, and a customized beauty timeline is created about 60 days out. Clients should arrive with clean, completely dry hair and a clean, makeup-free face with only moisturizer applied, and retinols or retinoids should be stopped at least three days before the appointment.

Beyond weddings, the studio offers special occasion hair and makeup for rehearsal dinners, engagement photos and bridal portraits, and customized special event bookings for non-wedding groups of three or more. Individual appointments and parties of up to three guests can be booked through the online booking site. Makeup is done with a curated set of professional luxury and long-wear products, in traditional or airbrush finishes with false strip lashes included. Hair services include dry styling such as half-up looks, updos and braids, plus luxury blowouts that begin with a cleansing wash at the studio. Spray tans are provided by partner Palm Beach Bronzed, at the studio or on site. Hair extensions can be bought or rented through a program, or clients can bring their own clip-ins. On-site touch-ups during portraits, the ceremony or the reception can be added to any bridal package.

Education is a significant part of the business, with one-on-one makeup lessons and hands-on workshops for aspiring and experienced artists. Professional Makeup and Professional Hair Styling workshops run over one or two days and end with a certificate of completion, and Bridal Makeup Application and Bridal Hairstyling classes are one or two day hands-on sessions. The studio also rents chairs to approved makeup artists, bridal hairstylists and licensed hairstylists for styling, makeup and blowout work, though color services are not allowed. Hourly rates are $25 for purchases under four hours, $20 for up to ten hours and $15 for 20 hours or more, and a $350 monthly subscription covers unlimited chair time and safe kit storage. Hours can be scheduled up to three months ahead as availability allows, and a first hours package can be fully refunded within three days. There are no annual fees, joining costs or cancellation fees, and the subscription has no renewal obligation. Towels and towel cleaning are provided to all chair renters.
