After 2020 she saw a need for a place that offered more than beauty services, and Vilansse grew out of that. The center's stated aim is to help clients connect with their best selves through beauty, wellness, workshops and therapy.

Permanent brow work is a major part of the menu, with microblading, ombre powder brows, a signature blended brow and the Egyptian Tap brow, a hand tapping technique the center says is unique to it. Brow design, tinting and laminating are also offered, along with lash fills from $65 and classic, hybrid and volume lash extensions at $125, $175 and $200. Lash extensions are typically refilled every 3 weeks at first, then roughly every 4 to 4.5 weeks. Waxing covers bikini, full face and Brazilian areas, and skin care is offered as an esthetic and wellness service.

Body sculpting is grouped as wood therapy, ultrasonic cavitation, laser liposuction, a natural Brazilian butt lift and radio frequency skin tightening. The center states these treatments involve no surgery and no downtime. The wellness side includes massage therapy and energy balancing using Swedish or deep tissue techniques, with optional aromatherapy or meditation, as well as guided prayer, breathwork and grief counseling, intuitive readings, herbal consults and spiritual work. Holistic sessions are booked by appointment, and a free consultation can be requested through the contact form.

Services are by appointment only. A $75 deposit secures pre-booked services, and rescheduled appointments must be made within 90 days of the original date or the deposit is forfeited. Touch-ups booked with less than 48 hours' notice for a 6 to 8 week appointment carry a $50 fee, and arriving more than 15 minutes late means rescheduling and losing the deposit. Only the client being serviced may attend, and companions are not permitted. Initial permanent makeup needs a touch-up within 6 to 8 weeks, and touch-ups booked after three months are priced higher. Microblading is not offered to clients with oily skin or prior permanent makeup work.

The academy offers courses in microblading, ombre brow, powder brow, manual shading and lash extensions, from one-day classes to a three-day master course that includes the Egyptian Tap. Classes run 10am to 5pm with over 200 pages of theory, and a $250 deposit reserves a spot and is refundable up to 7 days before class. Students must be at least 18, show photo ID and hold a blood-borne pathogens certificate, which can be completed online for $25. The event space has LED lighting, a sound system, flat screens, parking and security, is wheelchair accessible and sits near BART, Amtrak, AC Transit and Highway 80. Event services include photography, videography, a 360 photo booth, balloon design and catering.

Pairs cosmetic and body treatments with wellness, teaching and therapy, with the stated aim of helping each client feel more fully themselves.
