Velvet Doll Wax Studio

Velvet Doll Wax Studio was opened by Monique Tixier after she left a waxing salon she owned in Denver and spent time working in corporate retail and sales. The studio focuses on waxing, with Brazilian wax as its listed service.

The studio approaches Brazilian waxing as a comfort-first service rather than a fast one. Appointments are given more time, the work is done in smaller sections, preparation is done properly, and the technician makes adjustments during the service.

Aftercare is part of the offering. Under what the studio calls the Velvet Care Promise, clients can get direct support after a Brazilian wax if they have irritation, ingrown hairs, or questions. The studio also aims to reward repeat clients and to offer only the service a client actually needs.
