Electrolysis is performed one follicle at a time with a sterile probe, using the Apilus xCell device, which runs at 27.12 MHz radio frequency. The studio says the device works up to six times faster than many other permanent hair removal devices and is more comfortable, especially for clients with sensitized skin. Electrolysis suits all hair types and pigments, including white and red hair, and can be done on the face and body, except inside the nose. Sessions run from 15 minutes to 2 hours depending on the area.
Every new client starts with a consultation. The first visit includes an in-person consultation, a skin analysis, a health questionnaire, a tailored treatment plan and a small test treatment on a few hairs. The consultation fee is deducted from the first treatment. Treatment usually takes about a year, and can take longer for conditions such as PCOS or hormonal imbalances. Small areas may be finished in a few months, while larger areas can take 12 to 24 months with visits every one to two weeks. The number of sessions depends on hair phase, density, sensitivity and hormones.
Waxing covers underarms, the bikini line and Brazilian areas, for all genders. The studio uses hard wax or soft wax depending on hair type, skin sensitivity or preference, and describes its waxes as hypoallergenic and cruelty free. Wax packages are available, and they expire one year after purchase.
Appointments must be confirmed 72 hours ahead. Clients may cancel without penalty up to 15 hours before the appointment, even after confirming; later cancellations are treated as last-minute and forfeit the deposit. Children and extra guests are not permitted in the treatment room. Cash and card payments are accepted.
Each client receives a treatment plan tailored to their hair, skin and goals, starting with a consultation before electrolysis begins.
