Vanna Wax

Vanna Wax is a waxing studio on East Broadway Blvd in Tucson, between Paris Nail Bar and Gospel Supplies. Alongside body waxing it offers brow, lash and skin care services. Cessillya owns the studio, which she has run since 2024.

Waxing is the core of the studio. Hard wax is used on the face, the bikini area and other sensitive spots, where it wraps around the hair and lifts off with the skin. Soft wax, removed with paper strips, is used on larger areas such as the legs, arms, chest and back. Services include brow waxing and shaping, Brazilian waxing, full body waxing and full face waxing.

Before a first waxing visit, clients fill out a New Client Form, which the team reviews to confirm waxing is a good fit. Hair should be about a quarter to half an inch long, roughly the size of a grain of rice, and clients are asked not to shave in between. The studio suggests returning every four to six weeks, depending on the person, and says hair removed by waxing tends to grow back finer and softer over time. Walk-in guests are accepted, and special appointments can be requested.

On the lash and skin side, the studio offers eyelash enhancements, eyebrow and eyelash tinting, and micro-needling with a salmon DNA mask. The site states that its skin care specialists are licensed. Cancellations need 48 hours' notice; cancellations within 24 hours are charged 50% of the service cost, and same-day cancellations are charged in full. Deposits are non-refundable for no-shows.
