Vanity Salon + Co is set up as a collective. Its hair stylists and beauty pros are independent artists who run their own businesses, set up their own bookings and handle their own payments, while the salon provides the space and helps clients connect with the right person.

The space includes 16 hair stations and 5 studios. Amenities include a coffee bar, soda, sparkling water, snacks and wine.

On the hair side, services include haircuts, blow dry and styling, clipper cuts, all-over and root color, lightening in mini, partial and customized full-head options, extensions, keratin smoothing and updos. Color corrections and extensions are quoted at consultation. Hair pricing does not depend on gender or age.

The skincare menu covers basic and European facials, facial add-ons, back facials, acne treatment, dermaplaning, micro-derm, peels, lash and brow tinting, lash lifts and brow lamination. A full waxing menu covers the face, body and legs. The salon also retails its own haircare line, Vanity Collective, along with the brand ENJOY.

New clients are asked to contact an artist or pro directly, or the salon can match them with a suitable one. Appointment requests can be sent online at any time and are forwarded to a specific person or to the whole team. Calls and texts can go to 626-335-1279. The salon is open Monday through Saturday from 9am to 7pm and on Sundays by appointment only, and individual artists may set their own hours.

Independent artists run their own studios and bookings under one roof, and the salon helps new guests find a suitable artist or pro.

Guests can help themselves to a coffee bar, sparkling water, snacks and wine.
