Medical dermatology covers skin exams, skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, and conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, warts, rosacea, skin allergies, skin infections, cysts and pediatric skin concerns, along with women's dermatology. Skin cancer care is handled in the office from detection through surgery. Mohs micrographic surgery for basal and squamous cell carcinoma is offered at the Briargate, Central and Pueblo locations with same-day plastic surgery reconstruction, and at Broadmoor and Castle Rock alongside patch testing. Patients with a new or concerning spot are seen within one week, and anyone with a new or changing mole is asked to call promptly.
Acne care combines prescription treatment, such as topical retinoids, oral antibiotics, hormonal treatments or isotretinoin, with aesthetic treatments for acne scarring and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, including chemical peels, microneedling and laser therapies. Plans are tailored to age, skin type, severity, lifestyle and cosmetic goals. The aesthetic side offers injectables such as BOTOX Cosmetic, dermal fillers and Kybella, laser services including Laser Genesis, LimeLight IPL and laser hair reduction, and skin treatments such as chemical peels, dermaplaning, DiamondGlow, microneedling, Plasma IQ and PRP for hair loss.
