V's Salon

V's Salon is located at 8183 East 109th Avenue in Winfield, Indiana, and draws clients from northwest Indiana, Crown Point, and Merrillville. The menu covers hair color, haircuts, hair and nail treatments, and nail services, and the salon tailors each service to the individual client.

The business opened under the name A+ Hair Studio and kept that name for its first five years of ownership. On the fifth anniversary of ownership it was renamed V's Salon. Owner Vanesa Martinez founded the salon and also works there as a stylist.

The salon says its goal is an inviting, uplifting, and relaxing space built around quality products. The team commits to continuing education to stay current with beauty trends and techniques, and the business gives back to local nonprofit organizations through donations.

Booking requires a credit card on file. Changes and cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice; later cancellations and no-shows are charged the full appointment price, though cancellation fees are usually waived for weather cancellations. Listed hours are 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, and the salon is closed on major holidays. Gift certificates are available.
