Urban Oasis

Urban Oasis was founded by three women who care about wellness. They say they visited more than a hundred spas around the world before opening their own. The spa describes itself as a retreat built around sound, organic ingredients and stillness.

The menu is built around head spa rituals. Herbal Ball Head Spa is a detox and tension-relief scalp treatment for oily or stressed scalps, and the spa labels it its most popular treatment. Ayur Bliss Therapy is a deep-nourishment head spa with a full-body relaxation element, and each guest receives 500ml of custom-blended Ayurvedic treatment oil. Bali Rainforest Renewal Ritual uses aloe and coconut for a cooling, nourishing scalp treatment, and Curl & Loc Healing Ritual is designed for curly, coily and loc hair. Petal Head Spa includes floral therapy and facial gua sha, and Signature Head Spa is the house head spa service.

Facial options include a Casmara facial and a SkinCeuticals facial, with the spa also offering personalized skincare treatments and scalp analysis. Body Relaxation aims to ease tension and support circulation. Eyelash extensions add length, volume and curl. Aroma Chakra Balancing Therapy pairs organic essential oils with therapeutic sound.

The spa says its therapists have more than a decade of experience and that the team is certified in sound healing and aromatherapy. After treatments, guests can relax in a lounge with complimentary herbal teas and sweets.

Booking requires a deposit of 30% of the service price. Cancellations or reschedules made at least 24 hours ahead can be made without charge, with the deposit returned within 3-5 business days or moved to a new visit. Changes made within 24 hours of the appointment cannot be accommodated and the deposit is non-refundable, and missed appointments without notice forfeit the deposit. Deposit refunds must be requested by calling the spa. Arriving 10 to 15 minutes early is recommended, and guests more than 15 minutes late may have their service shortened. The membership costs an annual fee of $198 and renews each year. It includes 15% off all services, one birthday-week treatment from a choice of three, and a welcome gift set. Membership and package discounts cannot be combined. E-gift cards are also available. The spa is open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 am to 7:30 pm and Sunday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Draws on healing rituals from several traditions, including Chinese herbal scalp therapy, Thai herbal compresses, Korean floral therapy and Indian Ayurvedic oil healing. The spa says it rejects synthetic fragrances and uses certified organic oils from France and Australia.

The spa describes its setting as a quiet space built around sound and stillness, with Tibetan gongs and singing bowls used in treatments.
