About

UpKeep Wax works out of Suite 19 at Salons By JC in North Wales. The menu is organized into bikini, body, brow, face and lash services, and many bikini and brow options are combined into set-price packages that pair the bikini area with an extra area such as the underarms, brows or lip.

Bikini waxing is offered for female anatomy only. The listing spells out what each option covers: the bikini line includes about three inches outside the line but not the inner thigh, the Brazilian option includes the bikini line, front and butt strip, and the butt strip covers the center only while the full butt option also includes the cheeks. Body waxing ranges from small areas such as hands, feet and the neck to full back and full leg services, and full legs include the feet and toes but not the bikini line.

Lash services include a lash lift and tint, starting at $100. The business says results typically last six to eight weeks and notes the service may not suit very short lashes. Gift cards are sold in amounts of $50, $75, $100 or $200, or in a custom amount, and can be scheduled for delivery on a chosen date. The About page shows 23 reviews.

The studio is open Monday from 9 AM to 5 PM, Wednesday and Thursday from 1 PM to 8 PM, and Friday from 9 AM to 3 PM, and is closed Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday. Clients who have not contacted the studio within 10 minutes of their appointment time are treated as no-shows, and cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment carry a 50% fee. Gift card sales are final, and payments are accepted.

The business describes its space as comfortable and inviting.
