Brazilian waxing is the studio's signature service, offered as a first wax or as regular upkeep. A Brazilian removes hair from the front, back and surrounding area, and a strip can be left in front if the client prefers. A bikini wax tidies the edges of the bikini line without removing all of the hair. Other offerings include body waxing of the arms, legs, underarms, stomach and chest, back waxing of the shoulders and back, and face waxing of the upper lip, chin, sideburns and the hair around the nose. A vajacial is a facial for the bikini area that includes a cleanse, light exfoliation, ingrown hair extraction and a soothing mask, and it is described as non-invasive and suited to sensitive skin.
Services take place in a private suite with one esthetician per appointment, and the same esthetician books each visit and performs the wax. Each step is explained before it happens, and the esthetician checks in during the service. Prep and aftercare education are included, and clients can book online through a Glossgenius page, where some bookings require a deposit of between $1 and $5. Services are offered in English and Spanish.
The studio is open Tuesday through Friday from 9 AM to 7 PM and Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM, and is closed Sunday and Monday. For a first wax, the studio suggests leaving hair to grow for at least four weeks rather than shaving, and new client Brazilian waxes need at least three weeks of growth. Brazilian and back waxing work best when hair is about a quarter inch long, and clean, dry skin with no heavy lotions or oils waxes best. Clients may book during their period if comfortable and wearing a tampon or cup. Rebooking about every four weeks is suggested after a first wax.
Uses soft wax, which lifts hair gently and suits sensitive skin, with each step explained before it happens and prep and aftercare education included.
Services are given in a private suite, one client and one esthetician at a time.
