Unraveled Atl focuses on taking out braids, twists, sew-ins, quick weaves and faux locs. The studio is set up around removal rather than styling, so a visit is about getting extension hair out cleanly and leaving the natural hair as it is.

Removal is handled by separating extension hair from natural hair, which is the core of the service. Quick weave removal also covers taking out the weave, cap or bonding material and clearing any adhesive residue where needed. Prices and approximate times are listed for each style, from a $40 cornrow or jumbo braid removal to a $110 micro braid removal, and times run from about 10 minutes for the smallest add-on to about 4.5 hours for extra small braids or twists.

Booking works in steps. A $15 deposit is required, and a current photo of the braids, weave or extensions must be sent before the appointment is confirmed. The studio is open 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday and on Sundays, and is closed on Saturdays. Clients who want a wash on its own book the spa wash, which includes a shampoo, conditioning, detangling, scalp massage, steam, rinse and blow dry. Wash, condition, detangle and dry is offered only alongside another service.

Extension hair is separated from natural hair during removal, and no styling is added to the service.
