Each medical center publishes its own street address and emergency room phone number, so a visitor can go straight to the site closest to them. Locations include UH Cleveland Medical Center on Euclid Avenue, UH Ahuja in Beachwood, UH St. John in Westlake, UH Parma, UH Elyria, UH Geneva, UH Geauga in Chardon (a campus of UH Regional Hospitals), UH Portage in Ravenna, UH Samaritan in Ashland, UH Conneaut, UH Lake West and UH TriPoint in Concord Township.

For urgent needs, the system offers same-day sick care for minor health issues with no appointment needed, walk-in urgent care that patients can also book ahead, and on-demand virtual video visits with a UH provider, typically available within about 30 minutes. Emergency rooms operate at its medical centers, and patients with a possible medical emergency are directed to call 9-1-1 or go to the nearest hospital emergency department.

Clinicians can refer patients or arrange consultations by phone, and the Transfer Referral Center connects clinicians with critical care transport teams, specialists and intensive care units. Patients can view their records and message providers through the MyChart online portal, and bills can be paid on a secured website.

Billing, balance and insurance questions go to Customer Service on weekdays, and financial assistance and pricing questions are handled separately. Text messaging is available at the hospital's discretion, requires opting in, and is limited to users 18 or older.
