Ultra Scalp Micropigmentation is a non-surgical scalp micropigmentation clinic in Tampa, Florida. Pigment is placed in the scalp to imitate the look of hair follicles. The scalp is cleaned and prepped, and a topical numbing agent is applied first. Pigment is placed with microneedle technology using single-use needles and gloves. Most clients need about three sessions spaced four to six weeks apart, and the first session is deliberately lighter than the finished result. The clinic says SMP does not grow hair or stop future hair loss, but can change the visible look of thinning or bald areas. It also says results typically last three to five years before a touch-up, with UV exposure named as the main factor in Tampa.

Pricing is set by treatment type and scope. The clinic cites an approximate national range of $1,500 to $4,000 for a complete SMP treatment and says Tampa pricing generally falls within it.
