The clinic focuses on Ultherapy, a non-surgical procedure that uses ultrasound to lift and tighten skin on the face, neck, chin, brows and chest. The clinic describes its approach as patient-centric and says it is about a 20-minute drive from downtown San Diego.

Every patient has a consultation with Dr. Mann before treatment to check whether Ultherapy is a good fit and to plan the session. Treatment of the face and neck takes 60 to 90 minutes, while a chest treatment takes about 30 minutes. The procedure is completed in a single visit, with no follow-up or repeat appointment required. Numbing, anesthesia and twilight sedation options are available, and pain relief medications are discussed at the first consultation.

Results develop over two to three months as new collagen forms, and some people notice early changes right after treatment. Results usually last one to two years, depending on the person and lifestyle. Mild redness, swelling or tingling may occur for a few hours afterward, and most people return to normal activities the same day or the next day. Patients are advised to schedule Botox two weeks before or after an Ultherapy appointment, and to wait two weeks after Ultherapy before getting filler or other injectables.

The La Jolla location has an accredited operating room, and Spanish is spoken at the clinic. Pricing varies by treated area and is quoted on request through the clinic manager, and payment plans are offered. Dr. Mann can also build a custom plan for other areas of the body on request.
