UGO beauty&artistry

Founded in 2016, UGO beauty&artistry is a day spa in Charlotte that serves women and men from across the Carolinas. The spa describes itself as Charlotte's premier luxury day spa and as a trusted name in the community, and it points to local features and press as part of that reputation.

The menu is grouped by type of service. Facials and advanced peels sit alongside corrective skincare, while body services include full body waxing, massage and full body skincare. There is a separate set of intimate services for women, a grooming menu for men, and herbal steam and infrared sauna sessions.

Hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., with Wednesday and Saturday hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Bookings go through the third-party system Meevo MSi. Reserving requires a valid card and a deposit, which is non-refundable. Clients are asked to come alone unless other arrangements have been made, and to share any medical conditions, skin sensitivities, allergies or medications before a service. Patch tests are available on request.

Cancellations or changes need at least 24 hours' notice. Same-day cancellations and no-call, no-show bookings may be charged 50% of the scheduled service. Arriving more than 10 minutes late can lead to rescheduling, a shortened service or a cancellation fee. Services and product sales are final, and the spa is cashless. Gift cards expire three years after purchase and are non-refundable, non-transferable and carry no cash value. Photos or videos may be taken for marketing, and clients who prefer not to appear should tell staff before their service.

The shop sells skincare cleansers, serums, moisturizers, toner, SPF 30 sunscreen and a brightening kit at $200, with individual products priced from $15 to $57.
