Twin Ports Dermatology Shoreview
Med spa in Shoreview, MN · 3 locations
The practice was started by Heather and Anthony Smith, who moved from the Twin Cities to Duluth to open it. It was founded in response to a shortage of local dermatologists and long wait times for dermatology care in the Twin Ports, and it has served the Northland for seven years. The practice describes itself as the only locally owned private dermatology clinic and med spa in the area. It also reports several honors, including Best of Duluth from the Duluth Awards Program, a Best Medspa vote from Duluth Tribune readers, and an Allergan Top Ten award, and says it ranks in the top 1 percent of med spas nationally.

Care is organized under one practice. The clinical team includes Mohs surgeons, dermatologists, dermatology physician assistants and nurse practitioners, and the medical spa is overseen by a dermatologist and dermatology providers. Medical care addresses conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, melasma, nail fungus, warts, hair loss and skin cancers. Injectables are performed by registered nurse injection specialists, while estheticians and laser technicians handle spa treatments. Weight loss support includes a GLP-1 option with personalized medical guidance.
The Duluth office at 1414 Woodland Ave. offers medical, surgical, cosmetic and skincare services. The Hibbing office at 4125 9th Ave West, Suite 200, offers medical, cosmetic and skincare care. The Aesthetic Lounge in Shoreview, at Harbor Place Office Village on County Highway 96 one block west of Hodgson Road, opened in June 2021 and offers cosmetic injectables and skincare. Duluth is open Monday through Thursday 7 AM to 5 PM and Friday 8 AM to 5 PM. Hibbing is open Monday through Wednesday and Friday 8 AM to 4 PM, and Thursday 8 AM to 5 PM. Shoreview is open Tuesday and Thursday 9 AM to 1 PM and Wednesday and Friday 1 PM to 5 PM, and is open every other week, so clients are asked to call or book online to confirm availability. All three locations are closed on weekends.
New and returning patients can book online or call scheduling at 218-302-1000 between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM. A referral is not needed unless insurance requires one. New patients are asked to arrive 30 minutes early to finish registration and medical history forms, or to complete printable forms beforehand. Cosmetic treatments include a complimentary consultation, and in-person consultations can be requested through an online form or by calling the Duluth office. A payment plan is available, and accepted insurances are listed on the website. Free on-site parking is offered, Duluth Transit Authority Route 104 serves the Duluth office, and all three locations are fully handicapped accessible. The practice notes that individual results vary.
Individualized treatment plans are built for each patient, with medical, surgical and cosmetic care kept under one practice. Medical spa treatments are overseen by a dermatologist, and at the Aesthetic Lounge injection plans are tailored to each client's goals and budget.
