The menu spans brows, color, haircuts for women, men and kids, highlights, Keratin Complex smoothing, lash extensions and lifts, perms, styling and a range of treatments. Kendall Steffey, one of the stylists, spent about two decades in corporate salons before opening Twin Magnolias.
Every new client can book a free consultation of about 20 minutes to talk through hair history, options, possible outcomes and price. Clients whose existing color is darker than the result they want are asked to have a consultation before booking, because permanent color does not lighten existing color.
Women's haircuts start at $65 and take at least 60 minutes, including a wash, conditioning, cut and blowout. Men's haircuts start at $30 for at least 30 minutes, and clients 60 and over pay lower starting prices for both men's and women's cuts. Kids' cuts start at $25, with a blow dry add-on available.
Gift cards come in $50, $75, $100 or $200 amounts, or a custom amount, and gift card sales are final. Clients who need to cancel are asked to notify the salon as soon as possible so they can reschedule.
