Tucson Skincare Studio grew out of the industry experience of its founder, Mary Frampton, and is operated by her as a one-esthetician studio on West Ina Road. The studio describes itself as sitting between a medical esthetics practice and a resort spa.
The studio calls itself holistic, nontoxic, non-synthetic and organic. It says its facial products are natural, free of chemicals and preservatives, and sourced from DNA Skin Institute. Its Glow by Tatum Exosome Serums come in Anti-Aging, Acne, Pigmentation and Sensitive Skin versions; the studio describes them as the most advanced medical skincare available, and says the exosomes in them are sourced from donated human stem cells and combined with active plant ingredients.
NeoLifting is the studio's signature treatment. It combines breath work, lymphatic drainage, fascia release and muscle sculpting, without injections. The recommended plan is six weekly sessions, then two per month for two months, then monthly or every other month for maintenance. Neurotris microcurrent is offered as a full face lift with renewal, a full face and neck lift, or a mid face volume treatment. Microcurrent is usually run as a series of 10 to 15 sessions with a monthly maintenance visit afterward. Jet Plasma is a non-laser plasma treatment with no recovery time, described as painless; it is usually booked as a series of four to eight, spaced 48 to 72 hours apart at first.
Booking is by appointment only. Cancellations or changes need 24 hours' notice. A no-show is charged the full scheduled service, and arrivals up to 10 minutes late are accepted, though later arrivals may have their service shortened or be rescheduled. Treatment packages are non-refundable once the first session is completed or 14 days after purchase, whichever comes first. Package sessions must be used within 12 months, cannot be shared or transferred to others, and cannot be refunded or exchanged when expired. Lyco Ionic Jessner peels require a patch test beforehand and include a 30-minute follow-up five days after the peel.
The studio describes its approach as holistic, nontoxic and non-synthetic. Treatments and products are reviewed each year, and several are exclusive to the studio.
According to the salon, its setting draws on both medical aesthetics and resort-style spa environments.
