TruElegance Studio is a loc studio in Cedar Hill, founded and run by Angela Lucas. The studio describes itself as a luxury brand and presents its work as premium experiences that combine polish with authenticity. Angela has built it into a welcoming space centered on beauty, confidence and self-care.

The studio focuses on loc care: sisterlock and micro loc installations, interlocking, and retightening appointments. New clients begin with a consultation, and what happens there depends on the service. A sisterlock or micro consultation runs about an hour with the loctician. Clients arrive with clean hair free of oils and products, answer questions about their lifestyle, and leave with a cluster of sample locks. An interlock consultation looks at the chosen loc style and whether it suits the client's hair, and its fee is credited toward the final payment after a deposit.

Transfer clients who have never visited before must book a transfer consultation first, which carries a $35 fee and requires prepayment, before scheduling a retightening or interlock retightening. Installation pricing is set at consultation: sisterlocks start at $1000 for 4 inches of hair, and interlocks start at $600, with cost rising by length and density. Premium Establishment brings three master locticians to one sisterlock or micro installation, expected to take six hours or less depending on hair length and density.

Retightenings are scheduled every four to eight weeks at $185 each, in regular and tiny versions, and interlock retightening is $140. Clients more than eight weeks past due are billed $200, or $220 for tiny sisterlock or micro work, with a non-refundable deposit equal to the service price. Premium retightening times, before or after business hours or on an off day, add $50. The suite is upstairs, reached by the staircase or dumbwaiter, and offers free parking, disabled access, TV and WiFi. Services are offered in English, and the studio is not kid friendly.
