TrueLash Lab is set in a unit on Camino De Los Mares in San Clemente and focuses on eyelash extensions. The salon says its aestheticians are skilled and licensed, and it presents itself as a beauty destination for lashes, brows, waxing and tanning.

Extensions come in four types, all supplied by MATSUKAZE CO., LTD of Osaka, Japan, which the site says has made lash extension products since 2005. CLEAN Lash is the base antibacterial option, and the site says its antibacterial effect is patented and third-party verified and that it is the most widely used extension in Japanese salons. UV-Cut + CLEAN Lash is designed for UV protection around the eye area, and the site says it blocks up to 94% of UV light. SILK Protein + CLEAN Lash uses silk from the Tomioka Silk Mill, which the site says gives low allergenicity, UV absorption and a moisturizing effect. GROOVE + CLEAN Lash is laser processed with grooves that add glue bonding area, and the site reports third-party peel strength results of 200% to 310%.

Other services include eyelash lifts, also called eyelash perms, which curl natural lashes and last about three to four weeks on average according to the site. Eyebrow waxing shapes brows and lasts about three to four weeks, and body waxing is also offered. Spray tanning is available in light, medium and dark shades; per the site, a tan lasts seven to ten days and can be rinsed off after two to four hours.

Retouch timing is set by the salon. Extensions must be redone if more than four weeks have passed, as no refill service is offered after that. The site advises that GROOVE lashes take longer to remove and recommends removal by the salon or a licensed beauty expert.
