About

The studio was started by its founder, who had tried waxing, tweezing, shaving and laser before settling on electrolysis as the method that worked for them. That history shapes how the business presents itself: it is a single-method practice that explains the process before any work begins.

Every visit starts with a free consultation, which is required before a first treatment. It covers an examination of the area, education about how electrolysis works and a treatment plan. Electrolysis works by placing a fine probe into each follicle and applying a small current to destroy the blood supply to the hair. Clients often describe the sensation as a mild sting or pinch, and some use an over-the-counter pain reliever or a doctor-prescribed numbing cream beforehand.

Appointments run from 15 to 60 minutes, and 15 minutes is recommended for a first booked treatment. Electrolysis is priced by length: $46 for 15 minutes, $66 for 30, $86 for 45 and $106 for 60. The urogenital (bikini) service is priced at $86 for 30 minutes, $120 for 45 and $150 for 60. Most clients finish in about 12 to 24 months, with sessions spaced further apart as the hair reduces.

The studio uses a new sterile disposable probe for every client, sterilizes tweezers in a hospital-grade sterilizer after each client and sanitizes client surfaces before and after each treatment. Clients who wax, tweeze, thread or sugar are asked to stop beforehand and shave between appointments. Hair should not be shaved for two to three days before a visit so it is long enough to grip. Aftercare includes keeping the area clean and moisturized for 48 hours, avoiding makeup and touching the area, and using sunscreen or staying out of the sun for at least 24 hours.

Laser hair removal is not offered here. The studio will suggest laser first when it suits a client, then electrolysis for the hairs that remain, and can recommend local laser specialists. Payment is accepted by cash, check, CashApp, Venmo and Zelle. Insurance is not accepted.

Recommends laser first when it suits the client, then uses electrolysis for remaining hairs, with a focus on a safe, sanitary and confidential treatment room.
