The practice serves patients from six sites across Los Angeles and Orange County. It says it offers more than 100 treatments and procedures and that it treats over 3,000 diseases of the skin and hair.

Services are grouped into three areas. Medical and surgical dermatology covers Mohs surgery and other skin cancer care, excision of cysts, lipomas and moles, treatment for acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, vitiligo and fungal infections, and UltraMIST wound healing. A phototherapy center is available at every location. Cosmetic dermatology includes Botox and fillers for facial balancing, chemical peels, microneedling, acne blue light, acne scar treatment, Ultherapy, and removal of skin tags and seborrheic keratoses. Hair loss care covers oral and topical medications, excimer laser treatment, injections, and care for alopecia areata and scarring hair loss.

Visits are by appointment only, Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm at each location. Appointments can be booked online, by email at admin@truedermmd.com, or by phone at (626) 635-1688. Staff speak English, Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese and Korean. The practice accepts Medicare and most PPO plans and lists self-pay prices under its Direct Care pricing, for example $150 for a self-pay visit without procedures, $75 for light therapy, and $400 for 50 units of Xeomin. Self-pay prices do not include third-party biopsy dermatopathology fees charged by Compass Dermatology.

Care is delivered by board-certified dermatologists, physician associates and registered nurses within a physician-owned practice.
