Each appointment opens with a conversation about the guest's hair. First-time visitors fill out a brief hair questionnaire and get a free 15-minute consultation. Haircuts come with that same consultation, plus a scalp massage from the Aveda line, designed to ease stress, and a blow-dry finish. Stylists listen carefully, ask questions, and work with each guest to choose a look that suits their hair and daily routine. Online bookings go through the salon's Phorest page. Color appointments are best arranged by phone, as the salon advises calling to confirm timing and get accurate pricing.

Color is done exclusively with Aveda Color, whose formulas the salon describes as up to 99% naturally derived. Options run from single-process color and men's grey blending to foil highlights, balayage, bleach and tone, and corrective color. Corrective color is priced after a consultation, where the colorist checks existing pigment, previous chemical services and hair condition first, and some corrections take more than one appointment. Hand-tied and tape-in extensions use VoMor 100% human hair and are also priced after consultation.

Stylists train through advanced Aveda courses, classes taught by outside educators, and the broader Aveda network. New graduates get hands-on practice in technical skills, consultations, guest experience, and working with models. Experienced stylists keep learning through guest artist and vendor classes, in-salon coaching, and mentorship. The salon gives monthly support to charity: water, raises additional money during Earth Month, and runs local food drives and community events. According to the salon, one recent food drive brought in more than 1,000 donations for families in Nashville.

Booking policies: a credit card is required to hold an appointment, and a deposit is taken when booking online, with any remaining balance due at checkout. Cancellations or reschedules need at least 24 hours' notice to avoid charges. Services are not refunded, but guests who are unhappy with their hair can request an adjustment within two weeks. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and cash are accepted.

Each appointment is tailored to the guest, beginning with a consultation in which stylists listen, ask questions and help choose a realistic look. The salon uses Aveda throughout and emphasizes continued education for its team.
