Troux Studio

Troux Studio was founded around a vision of independence and excellence for stylists. Co-owners Heather Putnam and William Putnam designed it as a space where independent stylists can work at a higher level in a collaborative setting. The salon describes itself as upscale and its stylist community as collaborative.

The room is bright, with natural light, clean lines and a calm, polished feel. Each stylist runs their own book and client communication. Clients book directly with the stylist they choose through that stylist's booking link. Clients who want the soonest opening can choose First Available and complete a consultation form, and the salon matches them with a stylist.

Services covered include haircuts, color, extensions and refreshes, along with bridal hairstyling and special occasion styling. The salon uses Davines products throughout. Stylists also have access to TrouxEDU, the salon's education platform, which covers Davines techniques and editorial trends.

The salon is currently recruiting independent stylists to join its collective.
