Trios Salon

Trios Salon opened in 2005, founded by Somer and her husband. It started as a nine-chair salon and grew to thirteen chairs, then moved into a dedicated hair-only location with 27 stations. The salon now describes itself as a 52-chair salon. The space was designed by the New York firm Millard Kwon.

Every visit starts with a consultation, whether for a child's cut, an adult haircut or a color appointment. Haircut prices depend on the stylist level, hair length, density and complexity, so the exact price is quoted during that conversation. Guests can change stylists at any time, and the salon suggests choosing two or three regular stylists.

The salon offers a range of haircuts, from a kid-friendly cut for children twelve and under to a 90-minute PLUS+ cut for very long, thick or high-texture hair. Color services cover one to twelve levels, at least nine natural tone ranges and a set of fashion tones. Fashion colors are temporary and require a pre-lightening session first, and stylists explain in consultation that color results can take several visits.

Hair extensions from Babe and Cinderella are installed by certified extension stylists. Extension pricing is not listed online; the salon says it ranges from roughly $200 for a few pieces to about $3000 for a full head of top-quality hair. Extension inquiries begin with a free consultation covering color, length, bond type, pricing and maintenance.

The salon describes itself as a zero-waste hair salon, citing reduced water use, recycling and composting, and says its eco-friendly water heads cut water use by 50 percent. Hair, foils, color tubes and gloves are recycled locally. The pricing menu is gender-neutral and is based on hair goals.

The salon does not offer skin, nail, massage or makeup services, chemical perms or straightening, and it does not currently offer bridal party services. Cancellations or changes need 24 hours' notice. Guests who are not completely satisfied can contact the salon within ten days of a service. Dogs and cats are not allowed under state law, though guide animals are welcome.

Every service begins with a consultation, and the salon describes its goal as a safe, inclusive space where clients feel seen and respected.

Stations and the shampoo lounge use color-accurate lighting, and retail products are displayed beside each station.
