The business began as a hobby of coloring wigs and toppers and grew into a small business, which launched in May 2020. The owner opened a private wig studio in Folsom, California, in March 2023. Its clients include women with alopecia, hormonal hair loss, and hair loss from medical treatments, and the owner works with women from around the world.

The studio sells luxury human hair wigs and toppers. Every wig is made from 100% human hair, and premium pieces use Slavic texture hair. Each custom piece is sized, cut and colored for the customer. Caps come as lace front, full lace or machine-made, in sizes from Small to Large. Beyond new pieces, the studio ties hair back into the lace of a wig, offers color, highlights, lowlights and toning, and provides washing, deep conditioning and styling. Listed prices for the current new pieces run from $2,295 to $4,895.

The consultation checks stock, size, length, how many custom pieces are needed, and fit before a custom piece is reserved. The fee is credited toward a wig purchase, but consultation tickets are non-refundable, and a consultation does not guarantee that a custom wig or topper can be made. Payment can be made by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Afterpay installments through the website.

Orders ship within 2 to 5 business days via USPS Priority Mail, and carrier delays are handled by USPS. Custom colored or cut pieces are final sale. Other returns need an accepted request first, must be postmarked with tracking within 3 days of delivery, and carry a 15% restocking fee. Defective product claims must be emailed within 3 business days of delivery.

Each custom piece is hand-colored, so no two are the same, and the business says its customers are its top priority.
