Owner Lana leads the team, which includes licensed and certified practitioners in skin care and massage.

The space is calm and quiet, set up for slowing down. Visits are by appointment only. Bookings and cancellations go through the phone line at (650) 359-2000, the online booking system or in person, since the contact form is meant only for non-urgent questions. The spa is up one flight of stairs, and the building does not have wheelchair access.

The facial menu ranges from a teen facial for clients 19 and under to deeper options such as a 24K Gold Plumper Facial and a Deep Pore Facial that the spa designs for congested and acne-prone skin, with High Frequency and LED blue light. Most standard facials include a mini lip and eye treatment and a neck and shoulder massage. The Skin Scripts Facial can be adjusted to any skin type, while the Strawberry Lemonade Facial is not recommended for sensitive skin. Facials use product lines including Skin Scripts, Osmosis, Farmhouse Fresh, Dr. Esthe, and Eminence Organics.

Peels include Skin Scripts lactic and glycolic peels, which each include a facial, and Farmhouse Fresh and TCA peels, which are offered as a single session or a series of four. The Farmhouse Fresh peels are described by the spa as 30 percent acid peels and gentle. TCA peels require a consultation and prep kit beforehand, and the spa offers a free consultation by phone. Clients using retinols, vitamin A, or rosacea, eczema or acne medications should tell their esthetician before a visit, and High Frequency treatments are not given to clients with braces.

Massage is a large part of the menu, from traditional and focal work to hot stone, sports, prenatal, reflexology, lymphatic drainage and cupping sessions, many available in 60, 90 and 120 minute lengths. Time Master lifting and firming treatments are not available to clients with heart issues, metal plates, lupus, cancer, skin disorders, or who are pregnant or nursing. Body waxing is priced by area, and some prices can vary with the time needed for hair removal. Gift certificates are available.
