Touch & Go Express Color Studio is a hair color studio in Huntington Beach that concentrates on grey coverage and maintenance color. The studio keeps its menu narrow: root touch-ups, all-over gloss treatments, and a bond-strengthening add-on, with combinations of these offered as set packages.

A root touch-up is designed for regrowth of an inch or less. The color is matched to the shade already on the hair, and the service covers the roots only. Clients who also want refreshed tone on their mid-lengths and ends can add a gloss to the same visit.

A standalone gloss refresh applies color over the whole head to even out tone, add shine and bring back faded color. It takes about 45 minutes. The B3 Bond Builder add-on can be added to any gloss service to help strengthen hair and reduce breakage.

The studio describes its service as taking 60 minutes or less, and states that a root touch-up typically takes about an hour once consultation, color application and processing are included. The root touch-up with gloss runs about 1 hour 10 minutes.

The studio is appointment-only and does not accept walk-ins. Appointments are requested through the online booking form, and same-day slots can be booked online when they are open. It is open Tuesday and Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm, and Wednesday and Thursday from 10 am to 6 pm, and is closed Monday, Friday and Sunday. It does not offer styling, blowouts or highlights.
