The herbal decoctions used in treatments are brewed fresh at the studio every morning.

The signature Scalp Treatment is a 60-minute session that covers scalp analysis, head massage, herbal scalp treatments, deep cleansing and a blow-dry. The 90-minute Classic Scalp Treatment adds a nourishing hair mask, red-light therapy and shoulder and neck acupoint massage. Golden Sleep Therapy runs two hours, opening with a 45-minute shoulder, neck and back massage using Herbal Royal Bee Balm, followed by 75 minutes of scalp therapy. Other options include oxygen-infusion hydration with the Three Herbal Soup Therapy, a 90-minute growth-focused scalp care session with a complimentary red-light growth infusion, and a 2-hour anti-aging scalp session.

Pricing lists a regular rate and a lower first-visit rate, which applies once per guest at either studio, with regular prices on repeat bookings. For example, the Scalp Treatment is listed at $128 regularly and $89 on a first visit, and the 30-minute Express Scalp Cleanse at $79 regularly and $55 on a first visit. Facial Treatment and the Relax & Glow Head Spa + Facial are offered at the Mira Mesa studio only.

Kearny Mesa is open daily from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM and can be reached at (619) 666-4788; it books through Vagaro and has a large shared parking lot, with no parking directly at the studio door. Mira Mesa is open daily from 10:00 AM to 9:30 PM, can be reached at (619) 666-4812, books through Fresha, and has plaza parking at the door. Cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice by phone or email, and late cancellations may incur a $30 fee. Every treatment ends with a blow-dry, but styling is not included. Guests with taped-in hair extensions should mention them when booking, since those cannot be worked over. Tips are appreciated, with 20% described as typical.

Parties of five or fewer can reserve online, while larger groups of six or more are booked together with staggered start times. Private events are possible when the calendar has room, and every guest receives tea and the complete herbal decoction. Gift certificates for either studio can be purchased online, and businesses can buy discounted gift cards in bulk as an employee perk. The salon also contributes treatments and gift certificates to local fundraisers, school auctions and raffles.

Each treatment starts with a scalp consultation under a 200x microscope camera before the herbal treatment begins.
