Total Image Salon is a family-owned salon in Silver Spring, Maryland. It was founded by Assitan Kante and Amadou Tandina and has served the Washington metro area since the 2000s. The salon welcomes men, women and children.

For men, the barber menu includes regular and clipper cuts, fades and fades with lines, beard trims and shaves, a razor shave with a hot towel, and shampoo. Children can book a regular cut. Hair braiding is a large part of the menu, covering box braids, micro braids, invisible braids, Senegalese and Marley twists, crochet weave, cornrows, feeding cornrows, French braids, yun dreads and full touch-ups.

Hair styling covers shampoo and style, cuts, blow-dries, flat iron work, roller sets, comb outs, bang trims, formal updos and wiglets. Color options include balayage, highlights, ombre, full and partial foil highlights, retouches and a standard color treatment. Keratin treatment is offered for color-damaged hair, along with regular, Malibu and deep conditioning treatments. Nail, makeup and waxing services round out the menu.

Clients can book by calling 301-460-3200 or emailing info@totalimage.salon, and can ask for a specific stylist by scheduling a call. Hours are Monday through Wednesday 8AM to 7PM, Thursday and Friday 8AM to 8PM, Saturday 8AM to 7PM and Sunday 10AM to 5PM.

According to the salon, it took the top honor in 2022 in the inaugural Business Accelerator Program, a county initiative backed by M&T Bank.
