Each client receives a customized hair care plan. Consultations cover lifestyle, health, previous salon experiences, and hair history, and progress photos and notes are kept to follow changes over time.

The salon serves all hair types and textures, from straight to kinky or coily, and welcomes clients who care about hair health as much as personal style. Extension clients start with a complimentary but required consultation, which is the only service that can be booked online and which determines the installation method that suits them.

Intake forms must be completed in full before booking, or the request may be denied. Deposits for consultations and service packages go toward the service balance and are non-refundable, and a reliable card must be kept on file even for cash payments. Children who can sit and follow directions are welcome with a parent or guardian present, though no children's pricing is offered.

The salon says it supports Latterhouse Decor, a nonprofit that helps survivors of domestic violence, through regular volunteering and monthly donations.
