Every visit starts with a consultation. From there, the cut, color or extension plan is customized to the client, and the appointment ends with a blow out and style. Color appointments usually run about three hours, though timing depends on how much customizing the look needs. Each service is priced separately, so clients book each service they want. Clients who need a longer appointment should plan for that when they book.

Blonde work is a central focus. The menu covers partial and full highlights, lowlights, balayage, a mini maintenance highlight for upkeep, color melt and root smudge for blonde services, lived-in blonde, toners, retouches and color correction. Keratin treatments are offered as well, lasting about 10 to 12 weeks, and the salon offers deep conditioning and bond building as add-ons. At-home care guidance is part of the visit.

XO extensions are sold by the row at 16, 20 and 24 inch lengths, with the hair, installation and cut included. The business says XO Invisible extensions are the least damaging of the extension methods it knows of. New extension clients need a consultation first, and most clients start with two rows. Move-up appointments are recommended every five to six weeks, and a take-out and reinstall is needed every third move-up.

Bridal work includes a bridal package with a trial run, a standalone trial, wedding day hair and styling for bridal parties and family members. Bridal bookings need a minimum of seven hair services to travel to a venue. A signed contract and deposit secure a wedding date, and a travel fee of $50 applies when the venue is more than 40 miles away. Out-of-state trips and trips longer than two hours need an inquiry first. Clients may bring their own makeup artist, or book the salon's team of makeup artists.

The owner was featured in a June 2018 Voyage Dallas article in its Trail Blazers series about women who run their own businesses, according to the salon. Hair work has also been credited on a Model Magazine cover from a collaborative photoshoot, and the owner showed styling on the runway at a RAW live show for local artists.

Each visit is built around the individual client in a private suite. The aim is the blonde a client wants, with hair health kept in view and at-home care guidance given at the end.
