Color is the bulk of the menu. It covers permanent retouches of new growth, semi-permanent glosses and toning, grey blending for men, vivid overlays, face-framing and dimensional highlights, hand-placed balayage, and full all-over color or lightening. Color correction and custom makeovers start with a consultation, which can be done virtually, and are charged at a minimum of $100 per hour. Length, thickness and heavy regrowth can call for extra product, which is discussed before the appointment.
Outside color, the salon does haircuts for adults and for children under 10, blowouts styled with a round brush, diffuser, or flat or curling iron, and braids or soft updos for evenings out. Its owner, Nikki, hosts a two-hour hands-on group session called Hair Happy Hour for at least four people. Treatments include a Brazilian Blowout Original smoothing service, a bonding treatment, a scalp exfoliation and balancing treatment, and a shine treatment that adds gloss or tone without adding color.
