Thryv Medical describes itself as an adult medicine practice that looks at the metabolic, hormonal and physical changes that come with adult life. The practice describes its approach as a new standard for adult care. It has two offices, one in Sugar Hill and one in Woodstock, and offers telehealth alongside the Sugar Hill location.

The practice's view is that treatment should come after an understanding of the individual, not before it. Its process moves through four stages: assessing the patient, understanding what is happening, addressing it, and measuring progress. The starting point is the Thryv Adult Baseline, a comprehensive assessment of current health and future risk, supported by the Thryv Lab Panel, which covers metabolic, cardiovascular, hormonal, blood, organ and nutritional markers, with additional testing when indicated.

A first visit for a new patient generally takes around 60 minutes. Registration forms can be completed from home beforehand. Most services require a scheduled appointment, though IV therapy and vitamin shots do not. Patients are asked to arrive at least 60 minutes before the close of business. Initial Comprehensive Labs cost $299, the same for men and women, and fasting is not required; patients are asked to drink plenty of water. Women who still have menstrual cycles are asked to have labs drawn in the seven days before their next cycle, while those without cycles can have labs drawn at any time. Labs are not required for IV therapy alone. Treatment cost is based on lab results and is explained once the labs have been reviewed. The practice does not accept insurance.

Hormone services include Hormone Replacement Therapy for Women, which addresses hormone decline from menopause, aging, surgery or injury, and Testosterone Replacement Therapy for Men, offered for men with low testosterone. The practice states that more than 50% of men over 40 have low testosterone levels, and that men on hormone therapy may feel benefits in about three to four weeks, with women often taking longer. Medical Weight Loss Therapy combines prescription and non-prescription medications, supplements and coaching. Aesthetic options include Botox for fine lines and wrinkles, microneedling, PRP and BioFill for facial rejuvenation, and advanced laser treatments on Venus Concept technology. Hair Restoration addresses thinning and loss, including approaches that stimulate follicles. The practice says its services help patients feel better, perform better and age better.
