Threading by Dora was established in 2020 by founder and master brow artist Dora Siegel. The studio focuses on brow shaping and brow rehabilitation, and describes its aim as enhancing natural beauty through brow shaping, threading, and brow and lash treatments.

Threading is the core of the menu. It is a hair removal method that takes hair from the root without chemicals. Brows and upper lip cost less before 6 PM than after, and a whole-face threading service at $45 covers the sides, cheek, chin, and upper lip but not the brows.

Brow enhancements build on shaping. A brow tint colors only the brow hairs and typically lasts 2 to 4 weeks. A hybrid stain colors both the skin and the hairs, in a natural or bolder makeup-style finish, and lasts up to 10 days on the skin. Brow lamination is a three-step treatment that straightens and sets the hairs and can be worn fluffy, straight, arched, or sleek; results last about 6 to 8 weeks with aftercare, and sessions should be at least 6 weeks apart. Hybrid stain and lamination packages include brow mapping, and lamination also includes professional shaping and clean-up.

For lashes, a keratin lash lift curls natural lashes without extensions and lasts up to 6 to 8 weeks, alone or with a tint and a keratin deep conditioning treatment. Lash tint darkens the upper lashes, and lower lashes are an extra fee. Clients are asked to arrive without eye makeup and to remove contacts before the appointment. Brow makeup tutorials are guided, step-by-step sessions using Kelley Baker products, which are also available to buy.

Permanent makeup options include microblading for hair-like strokes, powder brows with pixelated shading for a makeup-like finish, and combination brows that mix both. Each is done over two appointments with a touch-up later, and results typically last 12 to 24 months. A full consultation comes before any permanent treatment, and free consultations are offered in person or by Zoom. A non-refundable deposit is required after booking. Permanent brow work is for clients who have not had permanent brow work before and are not pregnant or nursing.

Services are by appointment only. The studio is open Sunday from 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and Friday until noon. It is closed on Mondays and Saturdays. The entrance is on the side of the building.
