THIRTY-THREE GLAM

Thirty-Three Glam is a makeup business in Lithonia, Georgia, operating from a suite at Lovely Lady Salon Suites and Spa on Dekalb Medical Parkway. The suite sits next to Beauty Max Beauty Supply, and the site notes the location is about 25 minutes from the city.

The menu covers four makeup looks, from a simple natural glam with soft contour and a lip color of the client's choice, to a fuller glam that adds a cut crease and glitter. Full face looks include mink lashes. Clients who would rather not travel can book a mobile service, where the makeup artist brings a portable makeup chair and lighting to a location the client picks. Paid parking is not included in the mobile price and is added to the booking.

Makeup classes are offered as a one-on-one session lasting three hours. Two of those hours are a demonstration on the client, or on a model the client brings. The class teaches the Tink Technique along with the instructor's own methods. Students bring the brushes and makeup they already own, and the business supplies everything else. Classes run on Sundays or Mondays only.

Permanent brow micro-shading is also offered as a three-hour treatment.

Hours change month to month, so clients who don't see a time or date that works can email the business to ask about other availability. Sunday is the owner's day off: Sunday bookings carry an extra $50 fee, and mobile bookings on Sundays need email approval first.

Classes are built around the Tink Technique and the instructor's own makeup methods, with students learning on a live model.
