The studio is on the grounds of Olde Mill Properties at The Fuel House. Each suite has a sink, locking glass doors, and 24/7 access. Shared spaces include a break room that is kept stocked and laundry facilities, and the property has plenty of parking along with restaurants, a coffee shop, an ice cream parlor, and a speakeasy.
Clients come from across the Kansas City metro, including Leavenworth, Lawrence, Shawnee, Overland Park, and nearby communities. According to the site, each service allows for longer appointments and more personal attention, and a client review on the home page describes the studio as a hidden gem of relaxation and beauty.
For professionals, suite rentals include all utilities, carry no long-term commitment, and let renters keep all of their revenue while setting their own schedules. A commission option is available for stylists just starting out, through a commission-based chair called Suite 5. Suite 8 is a 100 square foot private suite.
