THEWAXROOM operates as a dedicated waxing room within Michelangelo Salon and Spa at 244 Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre. It does not offer other services, so the menu is focused entirely on hair removal across the face, body and legs.
The menu is organized by area and ranges from quick single spots like lip, chin, ears and toes to larger zones such as full arms, full back, full stomach and full legs. Bikini work is split into a bikini line, a fuller bikini option and a Brazilian, which is offered to women only. A full butt service includes the butt strip and cheeks, and the full legs service includes toes.
On arrival, clients walk to the back of the salon and head to the door marked beauty spa, then wait in the waiting area. Payment is accepted by cash or Zelle only. Appointments not attended without notice are charged the full price of the services to the card on file, and cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice. Cancelling or rescheduling inside 24 hours is charged 50 percent of the service to the card on file. Clients have a 10-minute grace period for late arrival, and later arrivals may be asked to reschedule.
Street parking is metered and available in front of the business, across the street, or in the back of the Kashi parking lot. Meters can be paid through the Flowbird app after parking in the spot.
